The Day Of Planning

The Waltons are taking a trip! We are flying to Boston tomorrow. Here is our current itinerary which will most likely change. 

 TRIP ITINERARY 

July 29th - fly out at 7 am and land in Boston around noon. Check into the hotel, have lunch, thrift and walk around, have dinner near the water.

July 30th - go to the Isabella Gardner Museum and have breakfast at Cafe G, do the Freedom Trail Walking tour, have a snack at L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolate, go to Beacon Hills books & cafe, and have dinner in little Italy, most likely at Antico Forno.

July 31st - have breakfast at either Tatte, Terra, or Flour Bakery, go to the Boston Museum of Fine Art, shop on Newbury street, possibly TD Garden, swan boats, and we are definitely going to the Boston public library, eat dinner at china town. Maybe get a drink at London Tavern.

August 1st - get breakfast anywhere, go on the Boston movie tour, tour Harvard (and maybe MIT), get lobster roll near water for lunch, walk around Boston and do whatever lol, and @ 7:30 pm we are going to Fenway Park for a Red Sox game against the Houston Astros! 

August 2nd - pick up rent car, leave Boston and head to Newport, RI, have breakfast either along the road or in Newbury, go on the scenic mansion walk to see the breakers, the elms, and marble house, tour synagogue (the oldest landmark in the US), shop on Thames Street, have dinner at Bowen’s Wharf, drive to Mystic, CT and stay at hotel.

August 3rd - go to breakfast and then tour Mystic Seaport Museum, tour Olde Mystic Village, go to Mystic Museum of Art and then have lunch at Mystic Pizza, then we are leaving and going to Washington Depot, CT which was the inspiration for the show Gilmore Girls. Hike and get dinner, then we are driving up to BrattleBoro, VT and spending the night.

August 4th - wake up and get breakfast, have a small hike and then get on the road to Vermont Graduate and Law School which is where Melli is going to school!, then we go from there to Conway, New Hampshire to see Cousin Mason and his family. Then we are going to get dinner and stay in Conway for the night.

August 5th - TBD

August 6th - TBD

August 7th - TBD

August 8th - TBD

August 9th - TBD

August 10th - drive from Maine to Salem and do the hocus pocus tour, the mystery and murder night tour, and get lunch and dinner!

August 11st - drive back to Boston and stay the night at the airport hotel.

August 12th - get breakfast and then catch our flight at 11 back to DFW.
